Baba Keresi (Santa Claus) is a Christmas song. Although rendered in Yoruba language and backed with the contrasting melody of a secondary chorus (rendered in English) to make it appeal to a vast array of music lovers. The Secondary Chorus was sung by Tolu.
As we all know, Christmas is a season of joy, love, merriments, sharing and giftings. This song really depicts these experiences while having Santa as the center of attraction that always made them possible.
In Baba Keresi, Luyi tried to remind Santa Claus not to forget his usual giftings so that the coming Christmas can be a memorable season like the past ones.
